Our medical projects
Athi River in Kenya
Thanks to the substantial engagement of the local Nairobi team in 2020, we were able to open the day clinic "Fanaka Health Center" in the rapidly expanding industrial city Athi River for people living in the surrounding slums.
Chittagong in Bangladesh
Our day clinics in the Chittagong slums are important destinations for the poorest population. A nourishment program, as well as counselling and training programs for women, complement our medical services.
Dhaka in Bangladesh
Many individuals in the Savar region work under very bad conditions in textile factories. We offer urgently needed help to their families and other people on the edge of society in our three outpatient clinics.
Kilifi in Kenya
Our emphasis is placed on mother-child health in Kilifi, one of Kenya’s more impoverished areas. Mothers can finally safely give birth in our outpatient clinic with delivery room opened in 2021.
Korogocho in Kenya
The huge Korogocho slum is located at the edge of Nairobi’s largest garbage dump. Our mission doctors and the local team conduct consultations there once a month.
Luzon in the Philippines
Our goal for the people living in the remote areas of Luzon are medical consultations offered by the ‟Rolling Clinicˮ, health education, and training of the local healthcare staff.
Mindoro in the Philippines
Our Rolling Clinic provides basic medical care for the Mangyans living on the small island Mindoro. They have been neglected by the Philippine Health System and live secluded in mountainous regions which are difficult to reach.
Nairobi in Kenya
We have provided medical aid in the middle of Mathare Valley, one of the largest slums in Nairobi, for almost 25 years. We also maintain a HIV program and a nourishment center for undernourished children there.
Training Pediatrics
In Sierra Leone, we launched a long-awaited project in the fall of 2021: training specialists in pediatrics. Our goal is to improve medical care for babies and children in the country.
Srimangal in Bangladesh
Most people work on the tea plantations in Srimangal region of Bangladesh. Their low wages are hardly sufficient to survive. We began a comprehensive assistance project since the end of 2022.
Sundarban Delta in India
With a Rolling Clinic, we provide basic medical care to the people in the remote regions of the Sundarbans. Through education and the training of health workers, we aim to bring about a lasting improvement in the poor living conditions.
Refugee Aid in Greece
We sent doctors to Greece for the first time at the beginning of 2021 to offer refugees improved access to medical care.
Sea Rescue in the Mediterranean
We have cooperated with the civilian sea-rescue organization, Sea-Eye 4, to improve the provision of medical care for rescued boot refugees since the middle of 2021.
