Dr. Harald Kischlat
Dr. Harald Kischlat is General Secretary and responsible for the management of German Doctors. He aims to establish a secure financial basis for the work done by our organisation and ensure smooth organisational procedure throughout, so that existing projects can continue and new projects can be realised which will have a positive impact for people in developing countries.
Dr. Christine Winkelmann
Dr. Christine Winkelmann is part of our board of directors and is responsible for project support and development. She is therefore also responsible for the German Doctors’ medical missions on site. Dr. Winkelmann dedicates herself to the maintenance of existing cooperations and building new ones in the countries where we have projects, as well as to the further development of the contents of these projects.
Medical missions and project development
As team leader and Medical Director of the German Doctors, Daniel Loreto is responsible for our mission planning and advises our doctors in the various projects about specialist concerns. In addition, he supports our project work from an organizational point of view and contributes his expertise as a physician with many years of experience in general and tropical medicine.
Vera Lütke Holz
Vera Lütke Holz is the consultant for the Asian area. She is responsible for the health projects in India and Bangladesh.
Anja Bujak works as a project officer. Her responsibilities include our health projects in Greece and our partner projects in Sierra Leone.
Grace Maria Agyei
Grace Maria Agyei is the consultant for Kenya. She is responsible for our health projects in Athi River, Kilifi and Nairobi.
Andreas Schmitz is the consultant for the Philippines. He is responsible for the health projects on Luzon, Mindanao, and Mindoro.
Janina Hotze is responsible for third-party funding for our partner projects. Her focus is on the support of projects in Asia and Africa that are funded by the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
Kaja Momanyi works as a consultant for third-party funds. Her main area of responsibility is the supervision of our partner projects, which are funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) or other third-party funding sources such as foundations.
Susanne Belayneh works in the staff unit for fundamental issues and project development. She is in charge of cross-cutting issues in health projects and works on strategic and conceptual tasks relating to basic development policy issues.
Annika Schulte works in the administrative department ‘Monitoring & Evaluation’ and is responsible the development of an M&E concept. She is the contact person for data collection, analysis, and visualization in all of our healthcare projects.
Carola Walter works in the mission planning and ensures that all of our health projects are continually manned by doctors. She also organizes activities for our mission doctors to prepare them for their duties abroad.
Pia Winter is the assistant for our teams project development and health projects. She provides cross-team support for administrative, organizational and professional tasks.
Fundraising and public relations
Florian Rühmann is team leader for fundraising and public relations. He is also the contact person for all questions concerning online fundraising and the German Doctors’ digital communication.
Vanessa Hepp is responsible for our press work. She maintains contact with the editorial offices and is your contact for all kinds of press inquiries. She is also responsible for print advertising.
Chantal Neumann fulfills duties in the areas of PR and media presentation. She is responsible for our publications, like the annual reportsor our donor magazine.
Sarah Waldschmitt works at the interface between online fundraising and public relations. Her focus is on digital communication and she is editorially responsible for our website.
Matthias Renner is responsible for major gifts fundraising at German Doctors and is your contact for foundation fundraising, corporate cooperation and the topic of corporate social responsibility. In addition, inheritances, wills and legacies are part of his area of responsibility.
Antonia Martin takes care of our fundraising databank to ensure it functions smoothly. She is also active in data analysis.
Christian Brodüffel works in online communications. He is responsible for our social-media channels and our blog.
Andrea Reinke is responsible for the German Doctors’ dialogue marketing and the graphic presentation of our publications. She also directs our donation service.
Nina Tasev works in the Donor Service and is your contact for charity and condolence donations. But she also always has an open ear for all other concerns about your donation. In addition she is responsible for donation boxes and dental gold.
Sandra Wied works in the Donor Service and takes care of all matters relating to your donation. In addition, she is responsible for the area of financial requirements and supports Major Donations Fundraising in the processing of inheritances and estates.
Bettina Hallensleben is the team assistant for fundraising and public relations. She is responsible for various administrative and organizational tasks to support the entire team.
Administration, accounting and IT
As head of IT and financial administration, Jörg Neuhaus is responsible for our IT infrastructure as well as the area of finance and accounting. In addition, with his many years of experience as an IT consultant, he advises us on IT issues and the provision of IT services.
Jürgen Pickartz does the accounting for German Doctors and plays a decisive role in ensuring that all our figures are correct at the end of each financial year.
Frauke Flottmann works in the area of financial administration. Her responsibilities include our project accounting and general payment transactions.
As IT administrator, Fabian Gocht is responsible for the functionality and security of end devices and the infrastructure. He also takes care of specific needs, further training and sensitization of employees.
Michaela Rohm is our receptionist. She manages the secretariat and the switchboard.
