Dr. Harald Kischlat
Dr. Harald Kischlat is General Secretary and responsible for the management of German Doctors. He aims to establish a secure financial basis for the work done by our organisation and ensure smooth organisational procedure throughout, so that existing projects can continue and new projects can be realised which will have a positive impact for people in developing countries.
Dr. Christine Winkelmann
Dr. Christine Winkelmann is part of our board of directors and is responsible for project support and development. She is therefore also responsible for the German Doctors’ medical missions on site. Dr. Winkelmann dedicates herself to the maintenance of existing cooperations and building new ones in the countries where we have projects, as well as to the further development of the contents of these projects.
Medical missions and project development
Dr. Monika Euler
As team leader and Medical Director of the German Doctors, Dr. Monika Euler is responsible for our mission planning and advises our doctors in the various projects about specialist concerns. In addition, she accompanies our project work from a medical point of view and contributes her extensive expertise as a gynecologist.
Dr. Elisabeth Sous-Braun
Dr. Elisabeth Sous-Braun is responsible for the implementation and updating of EPS +, the medical information platform for our doctors performing medical missions and accompanies the project work with her long experience.
Vera Lütke Holz
Vera Lütke Holz is the consultant for the Asian area. She is responsible for the health projects in India and Bangladesh.
Grace Maria Oppong
Grace Maria Oppong is the consultant for Africa. She is responsible for our health projects in Kenya and Sierra Leone.
Andreas Schmitz is the consultant for the Philippines. He is responsible for the health projects on Luzon, Mindanao, and Mindoro.
Hans Escher supervises the numerous partner projects in India and Bangladesh that accompany our medical missions and are organised and carried out in close cooperation with the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation & Development.
Peter Wychodil is also responsible for partner projects, concentrating on those in Asia and Latin America. He has also been appointed German Doctors’ Child Protection Officer.
Annika Schulte works in the administrative department ‘Monitoring & Evaluation’ and is responsible the development of an M&E concept. She is the contact person for data collection, analysis, and visualization in all of our healthcare projects.
Anja Bujak works in the mission planning and ensures that all of our health projects are continually manned by doctors. She also organizes activities for our mission doctors to prepare them for their duties abroad.
Fundraising and public relations
Florian Rühmann is team leader for fundraising and public relations. He is also the contact person for all questions concerning online fundraising and the German Doctors’ digital communication.
Chantal Neumann fulfills duties in the areas of PR and media presentation. She is responsible for our publications, like the annual reports.
Sarah Waldschmitt works in the fields of press and public relations. She is mainly responsible for the contents and organization of the campaign “Development Works!”
Hanna Zimmermann is responsible for large donations to the German Doctors and the contact person for cooperating companies and corporate social responsibility. In addition, inheritances, wills and bequests belong to her area of responsibility.
Antonia Martin takes care of our fundraising databank to ensure it functions smoothly. She is also active in data analysis.
Christian Röseler is active in online fundraising. He is also responsible for our social-media channels and our blog.
Andrea Reinke is responsible for the German Doctors’ dialogue marketing and the graphic presentation of our publications. She also directs our donation service.
Andreas Triltsch watches over donations and takes care of all donation concerns. He is also responsible for financial requirements and dental gold and administers our databank of pictures.
Nina Tasev is involved in donor care and is your contact for charity and condolence donations. But she also always has an open ear for all other concerns about your donation.
Administration, accounting and IT
Eva-Maria Freudenberger is our receptionist. She manages the secretariat and the switchboard.
Nele Kern coordinates the campaign “Development Works!” and is also responsible for its accounting and internal communication.
Jürgen Pickartz does the accounting for German Doctors and plays a decisive role in ensuring that all our figures are correct at the end of each financial year.
Jörg Neuhaus is the IT administrator of German Doctors. He ensures that the IT at the head office in Bonn and the connection of the field offices runs as smoothly as possible.
