Finances
We finance our work primarily through donations, subsidies from the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, and other state agencies, as well as from fines. The greatest possible transparency is all questions of financing is a matter of course.
Commitment
The German Doctors aim to create trust and have signed diverse negotiated agreements for this reason.
Child protection
The Steering Committee, the Board of Directors, colleagues visiting projects, and voluntary doctors are obliged to produce the signed code of conduct and an extended certificate of good conduct before leaving for a project.
DZI: Seal for donations
The seal for donations of the German Central Institute for Social Questions (DZI) certifies responsible handling of entrusted means. The German Doctors e. V. has been a recipient of the DZI seal for over 20 years.
Ten points on transparency
An initiative of Transparency Deutschland e. V. defined ten basic points which every organisation in civil society should make available to the public.
