Die Aktion fordert von der Bundesregierung mehr Engagement bei der Umsetzung der Millenniumsentwicklungsziele (MDG) bis zum Jahr 2015.<\/p>\n<p>Die Twitteraktion haben die <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aerzte3welt.de\">\u00c4rzte f\u00fcr die Dritte Welt &#8211; German Doctors<\/a> \u00fcbrigens auch \u00fcber Twitter angesto\u00dfen. Hier kann man etwas \u00fcber die Entstehungsgeschichte erfahren.<\/p>\n<p>Insgesamt kamen \u00fcber 200 Nachrichten (Tweets) zusammen, in denen die Organisationen etwas \u00fcber ihren Einsatz im Kampf gegen die Armut erz\u00e4hlten und den Betroffenen eine Stimme verliehen. Sie nutzen als einheitliches Schlagwort (Hashtag) den Begriff: #1000stories.
