In\u00a0dieser Woche wird die World Breastfeeding Week gefeiert. Zur Einstimmung gibt\u2019s diesen Schnappschuss. Mama Mailin ist mit der einj\u00e4hrigen Julianne in der vergangenen Woche bei der Sprechstunde des Rolling Clinic Teams in Cebu gewesen. Und weil Julianne gar zu aufgeregt war und weinte, wusste Mailin das beste Mittel zur Beruhigung: Sie legte sie an die Brust. So konnte German Doctor Dennis Borces ganz in Ruhe mit seiner Untersuchung beginnen.So werden sicher t\u00e4glich Tausende Kinder in der ganzen Welt beruhigt, gef\u00fcttert oder zum Einschlafen gebracht. Und das ist auch gut so. Denn dem Baby die Brust zu geben ist der beste Weg, es mit allen N\u00e4hrstoffen zu versorgen, die sie brauchen. Die World Breastfeeding Week will genau diese Tatsache in den Fokus r\u00fccken und ihre Umsetzung f\u00f6rdern und wird daher jedes Jahr vom 1. bis zum 7. August in mehr als 170 L\u00e4ndern gefeiert.<\/p>\n

Hier auf Mindanao wird es in dieser Woche Lectures, also eine Art Unterricht f\u00fcr die Patienten zum Thema Stillen geben, und die Mother\u2019s Classes des Mother\u2019s House in Cagayan de Oro veranstalten ein kleines Fest anl\u00e4sslich dieser Woche. Ich bin sehr gespannt darauf und werde dar\u00fcber berichten.<\/p>\n
