Dr. Fl\u00fcthmann berichtet:<\/p>\n<p>&#8222;Ausnahmsweise wird mir eine erwachsene Patientin zugeteilt. Sie ist 62 Jahre alt, und hat eine Anamnese mit Diabetes mellitus (mit Polyneuropathie), art. Hypertonie und Herzinsuffizienz. Der Blutdruck liegt bei 170\/100 und die Beine sind sehr \u00f6demat\u00f6s. Das letzte Mal war sie von circa einem Jahr bei uns. Die damals verschriebene Medikation habe ihr gut geholfen. Sie habe sie aber nur einen Monat genommen, da sie sich die Dauertherapie nicht leisten k\u00f6nne. Ich untersuche sie und erkl\u00e4re ihr, dass wir ihr die Medikamente hier umsonst mitgeben werden. Sie brauche nur regelm\u00e4\u00dfig wiederzukommen und wir k\u00f6nnen ihr die Medikamente erneut verschreiben. Die alte Dame freut sich, bedankt sich mehrmals und dr\u00fcckt zum Abschluss noch die \u00dcbersetzerin (\u201eInterpreter\u201c). Nachdem die Dame gegangen ist, erkl\u00e4rt mir die \u00dcbersetzerin, dass nicht die Medikamente so teuer w\u00e4ren (die bekommt sie von uns ja umsonst), sondern dass die Dame sich die Fahrt zu uns (circa 500 Pesos, knapp 8 Euro) nicht leisten k\u00f6nne. Wird sie wohl wieder kommen??&#8220;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Fachbegriffe:<\/p>\n<p>&#8222;Bei einer Polyneuropathie ist das so genannte periphere Nervensystem(PNS) in seiner Funktion gest\u00f6rt. Zum PNS z\u00e4hlen alle Nerven, die au\u00dferhalb von Gehirn und R\u00fcckenmark liegen.
