Wartebereich<\/p><\/div>\n

„Nach einem halben Tag Zuschauen werden wir sehr schnell ins kalte Wasser geworfen. Schnell gew\u00f6hnt man sich an die Frage nach Vitamin A-Gaben und Entwurmung. Die meisten Patienten haben nur \u201eub\u00f3 und sipon\u201c, Husten und Schnupfen. Wir sind immer auf der Hut, nicht doch eine Tuberkulose zu \u00fcbersehen. Bei Unklarheiten k\u00f6nnen wir Carl jederzeit fragen. Die Aufteilung gestaltet sich so, dass die philippinischen \u00c4rzte (Dr. Darel und aktuell Dr. John als \u201eReliever\u201c) prim\u00e4r die Erwachsenen sehen und wir uns auf die Kinder konzentrieren k\u00f6nnen. Wir sehen Skabies, Abszesse, Bronchitiden, Gastroenteritiden, Masern und schlie\u00dflich die allgegenw\u00e4rtige Mangelern\u00e4hrung, insgesamt ein ziemlich breites allgemeinp\u00e4diatrisches Bild. Nach der Abendvisite werden noch die Sonografien durchgef\u00fchrt. Beim Abendessen im \u201eDoctor\u2018s House\u201c bebr\u00fcten wir noch ein paar unklare F\u00e4lle, w\u00e4lzen die vorhandene Fachliteratur, bevor wir schlie\u00dflich ins Bett fallen“.<\/p>\n
